What is Valuheart for dogs?

Valuheart is a simple and effective heartworm preventative for dogs, administered as a single tablet once per month.

All dogs, regardless of breed, age or lifestyle are at risk of heartworm infection, so it is vital for all owners to incorporate a heartworm preventative as part of their pet’s health care plan. Heartworm is a potentially deadly parasite that can be very hard to treat once established, but preventing the development of the disease is simple.

When used as directed, Valuheart heartworm tablets prevent the development of heartworm in dogs and puppies from 6 weeks of age. As with all heartworm medications, Valuheart is a preventative only, and dogs should be tested and cleared for existing heartworm before commencing treatment.

Benefits

  • Tablet means no mess from topical solutions
  • Can be given with or without food
  • Safe for use with pregnant or nursing dogs

Is Valuheart suitable for my dog?

Valuheart heartworm tablets are suitable for use with dogs and puppies over 6 weeks of age, with no weight restrictions. Valuheart is safe for use with pregnant or nursing dogs, and dogs intended for breeding.

Dosage Schedule

In order to maintain maximum effectiveness, Valuheart should be administered once a month, with the dosage required based on your dog’s body weight.
